Happy Birtday to Me

Well it is official, I am now 26 years old. Yikes, I am officially in my last year of my mid 20s (some people try to tell me it's the late 20s but I believe late 20s doesn't start until 27 and I'm sticking to it..lol). Where has the time gone? If feels like just last year I was moving to FL and had just turned 21, now it's been 5 years and I will be moving back to the same state I left 5 years prior (though not the same part of the state). So much has changed in the last 5 years, I figured best case scenario I would have gotten married at 24 or 25 and would maybe had a child somewhere closer to 30 and figured I'd be living for my career. Well I will be celebrating 4 years of marriage on the 18th of this month to a wonderful man who I never imagined I would find. A person who completes me and accepts me for who I am but always pushes me to be the person who he so believes I am capable of being. I have a beautiful toddler who continues to surprise and amaze me everyday. While health reasons may have spurned her sooner rather than later arrival, I thank God everyday that she is here. Life didn't turn out exactly how I had planned but it is better than I could have ever hoped for. Does that mean that everything is perfect, well no, but nothing in life is perfect and everything really worth it in life, is worth working hard for. I don't know what the future holds in store for me but I know that while I may not always know it at the time, but life is sometimes better when you don't plan every minute, just live it and wait to see what the future has in store for you.
