Weekend in MD and then Some

Well I had a great time in MD this weekend except for getting a 24 hour bug. Got to see my cousin's band Courting Amber play and catch up with some of the family. Today I badly sprained and possibly hairline fx my ankle while seeing a client in a facility so I'm on crutches and no weight bearing for at least a week. So here's some pictures to tied you over.

Movers

Well the movers came today and brought our stuff. Wow I had no idea between our stuff and Rissa's how much stuff we had. I have 200 (yes I had to count and check them all off) boxes and a 100 pieces of furniture and pictures and stuff to unpack. Here is just a couple of pictures of a few rooms (I have almost 100 boxes in some cool secret hiding places under the attic and under the stairs. One of our neighbors (a nice older lady) brought me something she had baked this evening and welcomed us to the neighborhood. Aww.

Mt. Trashmore

Well took Izzy to the infamous Mt. Trashmore park today (it has playground, a big lake, big trails, a hill to climb, picnic areas, etc.). Izzy loved it, though the wind did some crazy things to her hair as you will see in the pics. We also checked out the Lynnhaven Mall today (I like it).

Sad to See Him Go

I already miss Joe and he's only been gone a few hours =( He doesn't have much more to go before he will be back for awhile but we both know that these 6 or 7 weeks will drag on the longest. Here is a few camera phone pics and some self portraits and such we took today at the airport. BTW Norfolk Airport is so tiny and cute..lol

Our Transition

Well we are finally in Virginia. Our new house needs a bit of TLC but it's big and has lots of storage space so that's nice. We had a interesting trip and you will have to ask me sometime about the thieves in SC..lol..I have included some pictures here of us exploring historic Halifax, NC and then some picture of Ft. Story here in VA Beach. It was very windy at Ft. Story and Izzy wasn't feeling it but we got some pretty sunset pictures anyways. Hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed the memories.
