Day at Hun Run Farm

Took Izzy to a local farm that also has a petting farm and playground equipment. She had a blast. She rode a pony and held on with no help from me, played with some kids in the sprinkler and even fed baby goats.

Rest In Peace Granny

Today after her loved ones called to say goodbye (myself included) a wonderful woman left this world. I am happy you are no longer in pain Great-Granny. You took such great care of all those around you and have left a legacy of multiple generations who love and will honor you. You have touched each and every person you have ever met and the world is so much better to have known you. I will tell Izzy when she is older what a terrific great-great grandmother she had. I am so sad I couldn't make it to Ohio one more time but I am positive you are looking down on me right now and am happy you will now be with Great Grandad. Love you so much granny!

Fun in Oceanfront

Well had a blast with Riss down in the Oceanfront. Had drinks in several bars, met some nice military guys, and just had a great girls' night out. Here's a pic from my camera phone with more pics to follow when Riss uploads her camera. Oh and now have a great new babysitter, whose an elementary school teacher. She's great!

BAth Time

For the first time since we moved to VA, Izzy really enjoyed her bath again. =) Thanks to some gifts from my WUAH family and some things I picked up, Izzy had a blast and even posed for the camera..lol

Also included is a picture of a huge bag of crayons someone at freecyle gave my daughter (along with a big teddy bear). Also the people at WUAH gave Izzy all kinds of bath toys to try and make her bathtime fun again.

4th of July Weekend

Well it was nice seeing the parents, grandparents and my Aunt Sheri, cousin Curt and Floyd. It was a quick up and back in less than 24 hours! Izzy had such a good time.
