Summertime Sunday

Izzy spent some time with her great-grandma while I went with Riss and we did a day before our birthday nails trip. Izzy always loves spending time with her great-grandma.

A must purchase for Izzy

This will be the next major toy I get for Izzy. I am so excited the American Girl will release a new doll tomorrow which is a 1914 Russian Jewish immigrant doll. What better way for Izzy (when she's older obviously) to learn about part of her family's history (my great-grandmother immigrated from Lithuana around the same time period give or take a few years and most of my dad's side of the family came from Lithuania or Russia). I also think the doll which has medium brown hair with russet highlights and hazel eyes looks a little like Izzy will when she is older. Anyways very excited about this as I used to play with the American girl dolls when I was younger.

Almost June

Well I can hardly believe it will be June on Monday (which also happens to be my 26th bday, only one more year till my late 20s, yikes!). Can't believe I will be saying goodbye to lots of people in the next week or two ahead. Today it was my hairstylist, next week several others are on my list. Well to lighten up the mood, here's some silly pics of Izzy.

Frustrating Fridays lol

Well still trying to find childcare for Izzy in VA (I do have some possibilities though). As far as housing goes we have this condo but we have been hearing mixed messages about the area as far as safety goes so we don't know. =( I will be starting work on the 17th of June which means I will be leaving FL sometime between the 10-12th of June. We are finally what appears as bug free after the great professional pest control people came in and did their thing. We are still trying to move up our pack out date but as it stands I may be in VA without any bit of furniture for a week or two..sigh...Well here is a few pictures of Izzy in the hotel (where we stayed while house got fumigated) and a cute camera phone pic from today.

Bday Party

Here are a few camera phone pictures from Lilly's Bday party at Chuck E Cheese and the balloon pic is from Old Chicago. Izzy had a blast. Well in case you haven't heard, I got the job I interviewed for and will be starting work somewhere during the week of June 15th-19th. We are also back in the house as the pest control guy came and did his magic yesterday so hopefully that will be the end of the pest situation.

Bugs, interviews, a little cutie

Well still got fleas that just won't die. Will be scheduling the Orkin man for sometime next week (like I really needed to spend 250 dollars for bug guy when we are trying to move). My telephone interview for my job went pretty good and I should know something early next week. I have lots of paperwork and reference stuff to print and fill out this weekend and fax back. The crazy thing is if I get this job I will probably have to move in the next few weeks. Don't know where we will leave, what childcare we will put Izzy in, etc but I suppose we will figure something out. We figure we wouldn't have to worry about coming up with all this stuff until July 1 but sometimes life just can't be planned. Well I figured at list this post should have something to make everyone smile so I thought I'd add this funny picture of Izzy today with her snow hat her grandma sent her (very needed in our 90 degree weather lol)

Updates

Well after several bug bombs, spraying, etc. I am tentatively hopeful that all the biting bugs are gone. We still haven't finalized a place in VA but hope to have something finalized by the end of the week (darn is it Weds already). Izzy has a birthday party to attend on Sunday. Also I should be moving out of the house somewhere around June 20th or so. Well that's all for now but will let you all know more when I know more.
